Best River Levels in 15 years

What a week. We lost riverboard guide Jo to the Wilamette University volleyball team as of Tuesday. Good Luck Jo! Six riverboad runs in the last three days have us ready to relax...until tomorrow morning when we'll run the gorge again. Today we had a group of USAF Survival Instructors on the boards for two runs through the Gorge. These guys were amazing athletes and took to riverboarding like they'd been doing it forever. As they will tell you "We're good at everything." Our off duty guides periodically ambushed these guys with small caliber firearms and farm implements just to make it a little more challenging for them. A few days of hard rain off and on in August have kept the river running at an ideal level for surfing and blasting through rapids.
